Successor Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)


2021-2022 Wage Increases (Recurring):

  • Cost-of-Living Adjustment: $100, PLUS +
    • Effective teachers: $200
    • Highly Effective teachers: $400

One-time Supplement: $2,500

Longevity Supplement (Based on years of teaching experience with OCPS):

  • 5-9 Year: $500
  • 10-14 Years: $1,000
  • 15-19 Years: $1,500
  • 20-24 Years: $2,000
  • 25-29 Years: $2,500
  • 30+ Years: $3,000

Lead Nurse Supplement: 5% Salary Supplement for Lead Nurses

Health Insurance: No increases to premiums for the 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.  Plan changes won’t take effect until October 2022.

Negotiations Procedures: Improvements upon the bargaining process

Orange County Virtual School: Training for newly hired instructors; additional period pay supplement for instructors over the class cap by 20%

Highlights of the COVID-19 Health and Safety MOU

Health & Safety Procedures to remain in place through June 30, 2022:

  • Adequate PPE, including face coverings
  • Routine cleaning and limiting use of shared objects
  • Reasonable efforts to ensure social distancing
  • Visitors must comply with safety protocols
  • Informing employees when there is a positive case
  • Cleaning areas used by a person who tests positive
  • Teachers allowed to have air purifiers
  • Providing the option to attend meetings virtually
  • Not having to go inside during home visits
  • Employees won’t be held responsible for cases tracked to their classroom
  • Teachers not penalized for choosing to maintain social distancing prescribed by FDOH
